Your first appointment is built around what you need that day. Some people come in for a full exam and cleaning, others come in with a problem that needs the doctor's attention first. We will work out which one fits when you call.

What happens at your first appointment.
There are three ways a first visit usually goes, and the one you get depends on the state of your teeth when you arrive.
Emergency exams
If you are dealing with a significant dental problem, your first appointment is given over entirely to a doctor's exam and a discussion of what we find. This visit does not include a cleaning.
Regular exams
If you are a healthy new patient with good dental hygiene, we carry out a full exam, give you a visual tour of your smile, and complete your cleaning in the same visit.
Your health and safety are our top priorities.
We follow the infection control standards set by the CDC, the ADA and OSHA, and we take extra precautions above those standard recommendations.
